It’s official! A new sequel to the beloved Ace Combat franchise is becoming a reality!

During the Playstation VR showcase during PSX, one of the announcement trailers happened to be Ace Combat 7, and I personally, couldn’t be any happier, same with plenty of other people as well.

While it wasn’t made clear during the announcement, on the official BandaiNamco youtube page in the trailer description, it states that Ace Combat 7 will have Playstation VR ‘Features’ and doesn’t say it is required, so it is assumed currently, the game will play like normal using a standard controller (and possibly a flight stick) along with the PS VR headset integration as a bonus for those who own one, not a requirement, which is great news.
