We initially thought Microsoft moving their E3 Press Briefing to a Sunday afternoon was a bit odd. Turns out, they were just following the trend set by another prominent publisher. Bethesda has confirmed they are still planning their typical Sunday showcase as well.
Start Planning Your Excuses Now to Show Up Late Monday
While Microsoft will be hitting the stage a an East Coast friendly 5:00 p.m., Bethesda has no such sympathy. The company is still planning to hit the stage late Sunday evening for Easterners, just like last year. But they did take the time to playfully mock Microsoft for jumping aboard the Sunday ship:

Shortly after that, Bethesda’s Vice President of Marketing, Pete Hines, confirmed the Bethesda time slot:
@JuddStewart just letting folks know that we are doing a showcase. because i get asked a lot. and that it'll be the same day/time as usual

For those that don’t remember, Bethesda began their E3 conference last year at 7:00 p.m. Pacific, 10:00 p.m. Eastern. So it may be tough sledding for those in the Eastern Time Zone that have early wakeup calls on Monday.
Bethesda hasn’t revealed anything planned for the event as of yet. And knowing their M.O., they probably won’t until June 11th comes knocking.
