With the game’s second Closed Beta period quickly coming to an end Daum Games Europe, the company behind Black Desert Online, announced today that a series of special activities and a contest are set to take place from March 3rd to March 22nd, 2016. These will mark Black Desert Online‘s official release and will celebrate the process that brought the game to life while giving players the chance to win in-game rewards and gadgets.
Players wanting to participate in the event will be able to do so by taking a screenshot with their guildmates, a selfie of their character on any of the in-game forms of transportation or by uploading a Black Desert Online music video to YouTube using the game’s original score and background music. While the first two will only yield in-game rewards, the latter will allow you to win a Limited Edition Black Spirit Statue and various T-Shirts. Daum Games Europe did not disclose additional information regarding the rules or prizes for these events but promised that more will be said soon through the official forums.
Black Desert Online sees the light of day on March 3rd, 2016. The game is currently available for pre-order through its official website and can be purchased until February 26, 2016 at 8:00 UTC. Pre-orders come with different packs, each containing exclusive items, guest passes to be shared with friends, and other in-game perks.
