Blizzard has just revealed the sixth World of Warcraft expansion at Gamescom. Ladies and gentlemen, get ready for World of Warcraft: Legion.

The dreaded Burning Legion has returned in World of Warcraft: Legion, and the mighty protectors of Azeroth are being called to push them back. Doing so will bring players to the new continent dubbed The Broken Isles where they continue to quest on and raise their characters up to the new level cap of 110.

Blizzard is touting new dungeons and raids for World of Warcraft: Legion, but there will also be other enhancements as well: a new PvP Honor system, Artifact Weapons and Class Order Halls to gather with allies.

During the Gamescom presentation, one of the biggest hype moments was when the iconic foe Gul’dan hit the screen where he led way to the reintroduction of fan-favorite Illidian Stormrage. Illidian’s return then correlates to an entirely new hero class: The Demon Hunter.

Outside of his passion for the gaming industry, he’s also an avid sports enthusiast (New York Giants and Philadelphia Phillies mainly) and enjoys quality/popular TV shows and movies.
