Well, we finally have ourselves a full trailer and a release date for Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare. The title has been dominating the news cycle for roughly a week now, and today, we finally get to see what’s really behind the curtain. Call of Duty in space is confirmed.

We can’t tell exactly when, but this title is clearly set in a future war torn world of sorts. The trailer description tells us to “prepare for a gripping war story in which players fight against the Settlement Defense Front to defend our very way of life.” What exactly the Settlement Defense Front is, and what they want, is something we’ll have to discover at a later time. But as a (timely) cover of David Bowie’s Ground Control to Major Tom rings out, we see our soldiers blasting into space. And not just traveling there via cut scenes, but there appear to be segments of space dogfights as well. We’ll have to see how hands on those portions of the game will actually be.

Towards the end of the trailer we get our official release date for Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare – November 4th. But the real kicker is the confirmation of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered. The title will come with the Legacy Edition of Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare and consist of the original game’s story as well as 10 of its infamous multiplayer maps. We’re surely going to get more information on that rerelease during E3.

Growing up a 90's kid, Jeff found his love for gaming during Nintendo's heyday. Because of that, you could call him a "Nintendo Fanboy" (albeit a rational one) to this day. Outside of his passion for the gaming industry, he’s also an avid sports enthusiast (New York Giants and Philadelphia Phillies mainly) and enjoys quality/popular TV shows and movies.
