Microsoft made a stir during E3 2015 by announcing that Xbox 360 backward compatibility was coming to Xbox One. The unexpected announcement drew excitement from gamers, but Xbox One owners have had to wait to see the promise come to fruition. Now just mere days before Xbox One backward compatibility launches on November 12, Microsoft has released the full list of Xbox 360 games that will work on Microsoft’s all in one home entertainment system.

Over 100 Xbox 360 games will be available (104 if you want to be specific), and some of the highlights include Assassin’s Creed II, the entire Gears of War series, and the fantastic PAC-MAN CE DX+.

While it is a solid start, there are some notable fan favorites from last generation, such as Uno, Burnout Paradise, and many others that did not make the cut for the initial 104. The good news is that more titles will be coming in the future such as Halo Reach, Halo Wars, Call of Duty: Black Ops, the Bioshock series and Skate 3.

Microsoft recently announced that all future Xbox 360 Games With Gold titles will be backward compatible on Xbox One.

Tyler has enjoyed video games, both large and small, ever since he was a child with a Sega Genesis controller in hand. When he isn’t playing through strange retro games like Snoopy’s Silly Sports Spectacular, he can be found meditating under a waterfall to grow his beard or eating pizza. Probably the latter.
