Batman: Return to Arkham

For those that haven’t dipped their toes into the Batman: Arkham universe, there’s no better opportunity than now. Batman: Return to Arkham has landed on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 today.

“You of All People Should Know, There’s Plenty Wrong with Me…”

Batman: Return to Arkham sees the games from last generation, Batman: Arkham and Batman: Arkham City, remastered with a fresh HD next-generation coat of paint. Only these two Rocksteady developed titles are included. You won’t be finding Batman: Arkham Origins in this package.

Originally announced back in May, Batman: Return to Arkham was originally intended to launch back in July. That didn’t happen, obviously. But it is now available today for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The game looks great! The graphics aren’t quite up to the level of the current-gen developed Batman: Arkham Knight,  but it still looks pretty damn good.

Both of the original games are critical darlings. So if you’ve never picked them up before, there’s no better time than now. Not to mention that each comes with all the premium DLC right out of the box.

We’ll have to wait a bit longer to see how reviews pan out. But since these are console developed, let’s hope the good looking duo avoid all the problems its PC brethrens had.

Growing up a 90's kid, Jeff found his love for gaming during Nintendo's heyday. Because of that, you could call him a "Nintendo Fanboy" (albeit a rational one) to this day. Outside of his passion for the gaming industry, he’s also an avid sports enthusiast (New York Giants and Philadelphia Phillies mainly) and enjoys quality/popular TV shows and movies.
