Destiny 2 Servers Back Up After Six Hours

DESTINY 2 servers were down after starting the server maintenance at 7AM PDT. Bungie brought down the servers to operate hotfix v1.2.0.1 onto Xbox One and PS4.

However, their deadline was at 11AM PDT but have released a tweet declaring that the servers will be up and running at 2PM PDT.

After hitting over one million online players only two days ago, they have a lot of players eagerly waiting to get back online to play. Some players are already losing their patience and are asking for their money back.

But Bungie are keeping the atmosphere light while keeping fans of Destiny 2 in the loop with a tweet reading: “Still conducting planned maintenance and addressing some new issues. Please stand by. Pardon our dust.”

Bungie have been extending their deadline throughout the changes to Destiny 2 servers every hour. But have recently tweeted saying that the servers are back online. But some players may experience a slow return back online, due to the high demand.

Destiny 2 only came out on the 6 September 2017 for console, so it is surprising that only after one week they are already taking servers offline. PC fans still have till the 24 October 2017 to get their hands on a copy of Destiny 2.
