A few hours ago, Eidos Interactive announced in a tweet that the upcoming Deus Ex: Mankind Divided has reached its gold status, meaning that the development process has ended and the game is now ready for release. The game has been in development for over two years, with details leaking as early as March 2014. It will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Getting closer to H-Hour
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is scheduled for release on August 23, 2016, approximately three weeks from the time of writing. According to Eidos Interactive, the game will be fully localized for different languages including German, Italian, French, Spanish, and Russian. This will allow fans from all over the world to experience the next chapter in the story of Adam Jensen.
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will deal with the social issues brought on by the massive diffusion of human augmentation. As politicians and associations fight in support of or against this invasive procedure, millions of people are forced to take a stand in the fight.
The game has been available for pre-order on Steam for some time now. Earlier last year, Eidos Interactive found itself at the receiving end of some harsh criticism for its business plans and the exclusive content it had planned to make available to those who decided to pre-order. A season pass for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is also available, hinting at possible DLC to be released in the future.
