As San Diego Comic-Con begins to envelop pop-culture for the rest of the week, trailers for video games are beginning to release in honor of it. First it was Plants v. Zombies Garden Warfare 2, now Lego Dimensions joins the fun.

Lego Dimensions‘ latest trailer has quite a bit going for it. Not only does it feature our now standard heroes of Batman, WildStar and Gandalf the Gray – but now Lego Dimensions is incorporating some heavy pop-culture of its own – Doctor Who. That’s right, the good Doctor – and TARDIS of course, are headed to Lego Dimensions.

The newest trailer depicts Peter Capaldi’s current incarnation of the iconic character. He quips to Batman and friends as he introduces them to the TARDIS, saying “this is the TARDIS, it travels in time. I’ve met you three before, but you haven’t met me yet…” Dr. Who jumps into the TARDIS as we then cut to a thoroughly confused Gandolf begging “can someone explain to me what’s going on, please…”

Growing up a 90's kid, Jeff found his love for gaming during Nintendo's heyday. Because of that, you could call him a "Nintendo Fanboy" (albeit a rational one) to this day. Outside of his passion for the gaming industry, he’s also an avid sports enthusiast (New York Giants and Philadelphia Phillies mainly) and enjoys quality/popular TV shows and movies.
