Within minutes from the start of this year’s XBOX conference, The Coalition’s studio-head Rod Fergusson stepped on stage and brought Gears of War 4 to E3 2016. Fergusson proceeded to showcase the brand new co-op campaign and announced that all co-op mode will support cross-play, allowing XBox One and Windows 10 users to play together. Additionally, buying the game on one of the platforms will allow you to play it on the other as well, thanks to Microsoft Cross-Buy.
The short video shown during the conference featured some of the characters, weapons and enemies that will appear in Gears Of War 4 and hinted at possible tragic and fast-paced story. The game will be released on October 11, 2016. A custom Xbox Elite Controller has also been teased and will probably be released with the game.
