PlayStation is making a big push with VR and they appear to have gotten a marquee title on board. At their conference they unveiled Resident Evil 7 Biohazard, the next game in the series which can also be played with full VR support. The trailer has you wandering an abandon house (sound familiar) and I can only imagine how scary it will be. This is from the same group that brought the kitchen demo which gained notoriety for being one of the scariest things you can do in VR. The gameplay trailer can be seen below.

Resident Evil has received mixed reviews over the past few installations, but this one appears to be going back to its roots. It doesn’t hurt that it’s coming out in a release window where as of this point it’s all alone. Resident Evil 7 Biohazard will be available on January 24th 2017 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC but the VR mode is only for Playstation.
