Konami has confirmed to Polygon that the game would no longer release in 2017. It has been pushed back to early 2018 to give the studio time to polish the game further.

Metal Gear Survive is a spin-off about Mother Base soldiers that have been transported, through a wormhole. It’s a co-op game set on a modified version of the Afghanistan map from The Phantom Pain.

Metal Gear Survive will be available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One next year. It’ll have co-op for up to four players.
