EA hosted an earnings call last night which showcased how the publisher did over the previous fiscal year. During that presentation, EA touted a bit of what was ahead for Star Wars Battlefront 2. Then, just to make sure the masses knew what was coming, EA’s official Battlefront Twitter show cased the same info off to the fans – but in a much more hype oriented way.
“Our Next Star Wars Battlefront Will Be Even Bigger…”
I don’t want to continue to tease, so let’s just jump right into the Tweet, shall we?:

Talk about generating the hype machine. “Taking players into more locations”, okay – we expected that one. “And allowing them to play with more heroes and characters,” yeah – we figured. “Across multiple Star Wars eras.” Well, while that one should be pretty obvious too, it’s still exciting to know. We’re sure to get gameplay from Episodes IV, V and VI. Likely from VII, VIII and IX as well. Could we actually see Disney and EA acknowledge I, II and III though?
“There will be new ways to play”, that could really mean anything. “Including an all-new single-player campaign”, now we’re talking! And… that’s about all we got. The Twitter account then drops the obligatory “we’re excited to share more” blah, blah, blah. Still, let the hype train begin! Star Wars Battlefront 2 will likely be on full display once again come E3 in June. Hopefully we’ll get a full blow out on the title then.
