Today, Bethesda announced that they will be release The Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Edition on September 9.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Edition looks to be a great value for new players of the game as it will give them “immediate access” to the game’s entire story, including four DLC packs: Imperial City, Orsinium, Thieves Guild, and Dark Brotherhood.

It wouldn’t be Bethesda without something horse related. So, those who buy the Gold Edition will receive an in-game Palomino horse mount as well.

You’ll be able to pick up The Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Edition for $60.

It’s great to see The Elder Scrolls Online doing well enough that we’re continuously seeing new expansions and special editions. During Bethesda’s E3 press conference, developer Zenimax announced it would open the game’s entire world to all players. The update — called One Tamriel — was designed to remove all content barriers from the game.

It was also revealed that The Elder Scrolls Online will receive three pieces of new DLC beyond what was discussed during the press conference.

I haven’t gotten a chance to dive into ESO yet, but maybe with the Gold Edition i’ll have to check it out. Have you played ESO yet? How is it? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
