If it didn’t turn into a nuclear wasteland, Nuka-World looks like it would have given Walt Disney a run for his money. Bethesda dropped the first gameplay trailer for the Fallout 4 DLC today, and it looks like it could be the happiest place on Earth. If it wasn’t completely decrepit and overrun with Ghouls and Raiders of course…
“A Park with Barely Minimal Acceptable Circumstantial Death”
The Nuka-World trailer is a ton of fun. It all plays out like an over the top theme park commercial. We take a gander at the many different aspects of the park. All the while a catchy theme song plays to inform us on the visuals we’re watching. Here’s Bethesda’s description of Nuka-World from the new trailer:
“Nuka-World is a vast amusement park featuring Raider gangs and unique park zones like Safari Adventure, the World of Refreshment, Dry Rock Gulch, Kiddie Kingdom, Galactic Zone, and Nuka-Town, USA. Nuka-World features new quests, Raiders factions, weapons, creatures and more. Enjoy the ride!”
The Nuka-World expansion looks to perhaps be the meatiest of all of the Fallout 4 add-ons up to this point. If this theme park is anywhere near as large as they make it seem in the trailer, we could have a fair bit of adventuring left to milk out of this game. We also don’t have to wait much longer for it. With the release of the new trailer, we also got a release date: August 30th.
