Fallout Shelter

When Bethesda revealed Fallout Shelter during their E3 presentation last year, many assumed the title was just a generic mobile app designed to bring out hype for Fallout proper. Turns out, the game actually had some meat on its bones and was quite fun. That fun is now making its way toward Xbox One.

Be the Overseer On Your Xbox One

The game will be available for Xbox One as of February 7th. And while it has already been released on PC, it will now be a part of Xbox Play Anywhere on Windows 10. Never played Fallout Shelter? Here’s the gist:

Fallout Shelter thrusts players into the role of Overseer to build their own Vault, manage dwellers, and adventure through Fallout’s iconic wasteland. Since the game’s original launch in 2015, the game has continued to expand and add features, including Crafting, Scrapping, Pets, additional rooms, iconic Fallout 4 characters, and special Dweller customization options. The game’s constantly growing Quest system allows Overseers to send Dwellers out into the Wasteland to abandoned buildings, decrepit Vaults, and mysterious caves to uncover legendary loot and face off against enemies like Radscorpions, Ghouls, and powerful bosses.”

Will Tuttle of Xbox Wire promises that the game has been “fully adapted to work with the Xbox One controller, so players can experience Vault life bigger and better, right from their TV” Just like on iOS and Android, Fallout Shelter will be a free download for Xbox One and Windows 10. So what have you got to lose?
