Final Fantasy VII

Without much fanfare other than the below trailer, Square Enix has released Final Fantasy VII onto iOS devices today. The iOS version is a port of the PC version that was released just about three years ago today.

The iOS version of Final Fantasy VII sports either analog or digital movements via touch controls (obviously). It also inherits from its PC brethren the ability to turn off random in-game encounters. You can also skip all the grinding and max out your character’s stats instantly via cheat codes should you so choose.

You’ll be able to run Final Fantasy VII on devices equal to or better than iPhone 5S’, iPad mini 2’s and iPad 3’s. The title will set players back $19.99. Checkout the release trailer below.

Growing up a 90's kid, Jeff found his love for gaming during Nintendo's heyday. Because of that, you could call him a "Nintendo Fanboy" (albeit a rational one) to this day. Outside of his passion for the gaming industry, he’s also an avid sports enthusiast (New York Giants and Philadelphia Phillies mainly) and enjoys quality/popular TV shows and movies.
