Here we are, folks. Just days away from the release of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. It’s all be building to this and it’s only two weeks away. To dump that last little bit of coal into the hype train, Naughty Dog released their final trailer for the game. It’s short but sweet.

There’s a good bit of action jammed into the 37 second clip. But the underlying story of the trailer, and I’m assuming the game as a whole, is the conflict that Nathan Drake’s older brother Sam brings to his life. “I made a promise that I was done with this life”, Nathan says. We then cut to a quick segment of a chat between Sully and Sam with Sully explaining that “it took a long time for him to get out of this game”. Sam retorts with “he’s meant for this life.” In the midst of the quotes, of course, is a distraught Elena finding evidence that Nate is back to his old form. And she is not amused.

It’s clear though that something forces Nathan back into the “game” for Uncharted 4. Here’s Naughty Dog’s plot description:

“Several years after his last adventure, retired fortune hunter Nathan Drake is forced back into the world of thieves. With the stakes much more personal, Drake embarks on a globe-trotting journey in pursuit of a historical conspiracy behind a fabled pirate treasure. His greatest adventure will test his physical limits, his resolve, and ultimately what he’s willing to sacrifice to save the ones he loves.”

It’s not long now until we have our hands on Uncharted 4. We’ll have a review ready for you to find in just a few weeks time.

Growing up a 90's kid, Jeff found his love for gaming during Nintendo's heyday. Because of that, you could call him a "Nintendo Fanboy" (albeit a rational one) to this day. Outside of his passion for the gaming industry, he’s also an avid sports enthusiast (New York Giants and Philadelphia Phillies mainly) and enjoys quality/popular TV shows and movies.
