Tekken 7

Bandai Namco Entertainment is gearing up for the release of Tekken 7 next month. The plot of the Mishima clan continues on, and today we’ve got a new trailer to prove it.

“No Glory for Heroes.”

I spent many hours in my youth dominating my older sibling within various entries of the Tekken series. But for the life of me, I couldn’t begin to tell you what the actual plot line of the franchise is. Luckily for us, Bandai Namco have released a fun new video entitled Tekken Retro Recap.

The video is just as the name implies, a retro styled recap video encapsulating the first three Tekken games for easy digestion. It’s fun and educational! Check it out:

Part 2 should be releasing sometime soon on the Bandai Namco Games YouTube page. But moving onto Tekken 7, as we mentioned, a new story trailer dropped today. As far as story goes, it seems to be more of the same. Heihachi and his son Kazuya, forever at odds. It’s description is vague:

“The feud of the Mishima family and its footprint on the rest of the world. From honor, duty, vengeance, all their fights are personal. In a final showdown filled by blood and anger, what began in death will end…in death.”

And the video itself doesn’t give many details away. I supposed we’ll have to await the June 2nd release of the game to find all the plot twists for ourselves.

Growing up a 90's kid, Jeff found his love for gaming during Nintendo's heyday. Because of that, you could call him a "Nintendo Fanboy" (albeit a rational one) to this day. Outside of his passion for the gaming industry, he’s also an avid sports enthusiast (New York Giants and Philadelphia Phillies mainly) and enjoys quality/popular TV shows and movies.
