Recently after the release of two new Halo 5: Guardians trailers last night, more information has been provided by the developers through a statement by 343 Industries’ studio head Bonnie Ross.
In the statement Ross says that Halo 5 will deliver epic “scope, scale and drama”. “We wanted Halo 5: Guardians to be the game that pays off the epic promise of the Halo universe in scope and scale and drama,” Ross said.
“We want to amaze players with the sheer size of the worlds and battles they’ll experience, even as they question everything they thought they knew about its heroes, marvels, and mysteries.”
She also added that Microsoft’s new campaign, ‘Hunt the Truth’, is only a beginning. She stated that more information would be released during E3 in June.
Both the new trailers released revolve around the same question, “Who is the hunter and who is the hunted ?”, providing vague details about Captain Locke and Master Chief’s relationship.
The developers have confirmed October 27 as the final release date for the Xbox One exclusive game. Also it has been previously announced that Captain Locke would be a playable character in Halo 5: Guardians, and also Cortana is set to make an appearance in the game.
With all the cryptic statements and videos the excitement as well as expectations are going up, let’s just hope that the game answers reasonably.
