Today at Blizzcon, Blizzard announced Hearthstone‘s newest expansion, The League of Explorers. This expansion is of the adventure variety, where players use decks in PvE content, and succeeding unlocks new cards that can be used in all modes. In a shocking announcement, the expansion will be released on November 12 2015. Usually expansions are announced around a month before they come out. This might be because of the playerbase being upset with the current meta. Whatever the case The League of Explorers has already shown us a new card mechanic, Discover. Discover gives you the option of 3 cards of a certain type and makes the player choose one to add to their hand. The adventure features 45 new cards, 3 for each class, and 5 legendaries which are all neutral. There will also be a new game board and card back for beating the Adventure on Heroic difficulty.
The League of Explorers features four difficults wings which will be rolled out one week at a time. While no pricing has been announced one can expect the same in game pricing as usual, 700 gold per wing.
