There’s no denying that Sony’s PlayStation Plus is a fantastic service. Usually offering one to two free “blockbuster” games a month, as well as some indie darlings. It covers all of Sony’s platforms and includes pretty recent titles. A great value.
Today, Sony has announced what games you’ll be getting as a PS Plus member in the month of June … and boy are there some great games included.
This month you’ll be treated to:
- Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes (PS4)
- Skulls of the Shogan: Bone-A-Fied Edition (PS4)
- Super Exploding Zoo (PS Vita / PS4)
- Futuridium EP Deluxe (PS Vita / PS4)
- Call of Juarez: Gunslinger (PS3)
- Cloudberry Kingdom (PS3)
Obviously, the most notable game this month is Konami’s Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes. The game does a good job giving the player an idea of what they’re in store for when MGS V: The Phantom Pain releases later this year. It’s quick, replayable, and looks beautiful.
Other notable inclusions are Gunslinger, Skulls, and Cloudberry Kingdom. Call of Juarez: Gunslinger is a fantastic little downloadable game that released after the disaster that was Call of Juarez: The Cartel. Told through flashbacks, it has a fun story and it plays really well. You should definitely check it out. Skulls of the Shogun: Bone-A-Fied Edition is a fun little strategy game with a great art style. Loved it when it came out and played many intense battles with friends. Finally, If you want to bang your head against a wall, pick up Cloudberry Kingdom. It’s an insane 2D platformer with an almost infinite number of levels. Oh yea, it’s hard!
I haven’t played Futuridium EP Deluxe, or Exploding Zoo, but am interested in checking them out.
So there you have it. Your free games of June. Which ones are you excited to play? Let us know in the comments below.
