Battle Tendency Trailer

It’s another week and Namco Bandai has released another trailer for JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven. This time around the trailer is focusing on the anime and manga’s second story arc, Battle Tendency. If you missed the trailer for chapter one you can find that here.

The Battle Tendency trailer for the PlayStation 4 exclusive shows off the seven playable characters that appear in the series’ second chapter. That’s three more than were in the 2-on-2 fighting title’s first arc, but only a fraction of the fighting game’s 50 character roster.

Check out the action filled two minute JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven Battle Tendency trailer below:

Here’s a little backstory on the characters you saw in the Battle Tendency trailer. The main protagonist is Joseph Joestar, the grandson of Jonathan Joestar. Joseph is battling a villainous group of humanoids called the Pillar Men. They are composed of Kars, Esidisi, and Wammu. Other characters include Joseph’s partner Caesar Anthonio Zeppeli, Caesar’s mentor Lisa Lisa, and the Nazi Rudol Von Stroheim.

So far we’ve seen what’s in store for gamers in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven‘s first two chapters, but there are still six more to be seen. With CyberConnect2’s fighting game featuring over 50 playable characters, there’s plenty more that will be unveiled in future trailers. While it’s largely an adaptation of Hirohiko Araki’s iconic series, it will also feature an original story that was specifically made for the game.

We’ll have more on JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven as the PlayStation 4 exclusive nears its Summer 2016 release date. Until then you can keep re-watching the Battle Tendency trailer to see some of the Joseph Joestar and friends in action.

Tyler has enjoyed video games, both large and small, ever since he was a child with a Sega Genesis controller in hand. When he isn’t playing through strange retro games like Snoopy’s Silly Sports Spectacular, he can be found meditating under a waterfall to grow his beard or eating pizza. Probably the latter.
