It’s been a back and forth rollercoaster for fans clamoring to get ahold of The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild. Initially having hopes that the game would launch alongside the Nintendo Switch in March, Nintendo was oddly noncommittal. Rumors began leaking that there were localization issues, and that the game may be forced into the Summer. Luckily, that’s not the case.
It’s Time to Book Your Trip Back to Hyrule
As the “one more thing” moment of the show, Reggie Fils-Aime and Shigeru Miyamoto came together to reveal the good news. The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild would be releasing on the same date as the Nintendo Switch console – March 3rd, 2017.
With the news came an epic new trailer for the game that showed us a great look at Zelda, and heavily mentions Calamity Ganon’s reign on the land. Oh, and it seemingly confirms that we’ll be playing as a Link from a previous adventure who has been slumbering for 100 years since his previous outing.
