Well Stranger Things fans, you can finally exhale. Netflix released a teaser trailer this morning confirming that Season 2 of the bingeable phenom is on the way.
“In the Fall of 1984, the adventure continues…”
The teaser doesn’t give us much, except for official confirmation that Season 2 exists. It does, however, tease us (which is what a teaser trailer is supposed to do), with the episode titles we’ll be getting next season. It looks as though 9 episodes have been ordered by Netflix, and they all reek of the 80’s campiness that made the show famous:
- The Boy Who Came Back to Life
- The Pumpkin Patch
- The Palace
- The Storm
- The Pollywog
- The Secret Cabin
- The Brain
- The Lost Brother
The Duffer Brothers, the duo that created and Executive Produce Stranger Things, have been working on Season 2 for a while by the looks of it. The sibling team have been talking vague ideas about a possible next season for a few months now, and we already have our episode names in place. The original season took place in the Fall of 1983. Season 2 will follow suit as a continuation of that story in the Fall of 1984.
It looks as though Stranger Things is well on its way to being back on our screens. The teaser gives us nothing other than a “2017” slot for the next season. But with things rolling as smoothly as they appear to be, we can hope the show is ready to hit the spotlight once again come July.
