Well, Amazon France, you’ve done it again. The site, notorious for leaking game information via their game listings ahead of the publisher’s desired timetable, may have dished out new details on The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD. We also have additional details on the game thanks to a new issue of Famitsu that released this week.
The big news on The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD is that it may contain a new dungeon to play through. The Amazon France listing, which has since been modified to remove the information, detailed a new dungeon that translates to something close to “The Cave of Twilight”. The downside to this? You have to use the Wolf Link amiibo to unlock it. Other amiibo will have a role to play as well. If you own a Link, Toon Link, Ganondorf, Sheik or Zelda figure, you can place them upon your Wii U Gamepad through the adventure to replenish your hearts and arrows.
Hero Mode has evidently been added to The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD as well, and is seemingly available to players to jump into right out of the gate. Also, Famitsu has reported that the Lanayru Province’s Tears of Light, items that you must collect deeper into the game, have been reduced in scope. This seems like a similar tweak to The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker‘s adjustment of the Triforce shards toward the end of its adventure.
We’re sure to be getting new details on The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD soon as the game releases March 4th on Wii U. We’ll bring them to you as we get them.
