When Destiny first launched, the main criticism against the game was its lack of content. These last few years, Bungie has been rectifying that with new expansions, updates, and patches. Their newest expansion, Rise of Iron looks to be one of their biggest yet. But what goodies will players get if they pre-order the expansion? Bungie announced a new one today.

Carrying The Banner

During a live stream today, Bungie revealed a new Sparrow pre-order bonus for Destiny: Rise of Iron. The company also spoke about its plans to show off an online demonstration of what’s new in the game’s competitive multiplayer during Gamescom 2016.

Players who pre-order Destiny: Rise of Iron will be getting the Iron Gjallarwing, a tricked out Sparrow themed after the popular Gjallarhorn rocket launcher. This offer will be available at select retailers and digital storefronts on both PS4 and Xbox One. Not only will players be treated to this Sparrow, anyone who pre-order’s the game will also get the Iron Gjallarhorn, which was announced previously.

Destiny’s 6v6 multiplayer, called the Crucible, has undergone constant changes over the course of the game’s life. Rise of Iron will continue to introduce changes, including a brand new mode as well as brand new maps to the game.

Destiny: Rise of Iron will introduce new campaign missions, as well as a new raid, armor, weapons and more when it launches on September 20.

So, Destiny players, are you ready to raise the banner when the new expansion launched this September? Or, are you off the Destiny train completely? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
