Injustice 2 - Villains

No, I didn’t come up with that horrible pun of a title. I stole it from the game itself. Blame Warner Bros.! Injustice 2 teases are coming fast and furiously these days, and today the spotlight is on some of the lesser known bad guys.

“It’s Good To Be Bad”

On display today are Gorilla Grodd, Bane, Captain Cold and Scarecrow. Each of them bringing “a whole new level of terror to Injustice 2.”

Bane appears to be utilizing a wrestling based moveset to pummel his opponents. We didn’t get to see any type of transformation form him though. So I’m assuming that’s saved as a special move or finisher of sorts. Gorilla Grodd too acts as a heavy, close ranged brawler. However he also has abilities to use telepathic powers to lure foes and and deal damage.

Captain Cold was next to debut in the trailer. I don’t know much about him, but he clearly loves utilizing his Cold Gun. Here’s a tidbit from his bio: Sworn to ending all crime, the Regime hunted down and brutally executed every member of the Rogues, including Captain Cold’s sister. Using his skills as a thief and his iconic Cold Gun, Cold now seeks his vengeance. He’ll gladly use the Society to achieve it.

Finally, we have Scarecrow. And it’s a pretty intimidating verison of the character that resides in Injustice 2. “Scarecrow plays on the fears of the unknown to inflict terror on his victims. An anarchist obsessed with using chemistry and psychology to spread and study fear. He joins the Society in order to sow panic on a global scale.” You can see him utilizing his Fear Toxin in the trailer, and generally just scaring the living hell out of Harley Quinn.

You can check it all out for yourself below. Injustice 2 hits stores on May 16th.
