Nintendo’s worldwide Twitter machine went into full force this morning. With just a little over a month out, the company has revealed what their plans are for June’s Electronic Entertainment Expo.

It’s Exactly What We Expected

Here’s their official Tweet:

Specifically, Nintendo mentions “the latest on this year’s Nintendo Switch and 3DS games.” Emphasis mine on “this year’s”. They appear poised to replicate what they did at E3 last year. Show off plenty of their big title – last year Breath of the Wild, this year Super Mario Odyssey. Sure, there will be other announcements and likely other games on the show floor. But I wouldn’t go into the first public E3 hoping to play a ton of just announced Switch and 3DS titles.

The company will be doing their “Nintendo Spotlight” event on Tuesday, June 13th at 9:00 a.m. Pacific, 12:00 p.m. Eastern. Hopefully there we’ll get the full lineup for the rest of 2017. And hopefully, a few juicy morsels for what’s beyond that. Just a month away, folks!

Growing up a 90's kid, Jeff found his love for gaming during Nintendo's heyday. Because of that, you could call him a "Nintendo Fanboy" (albeit a rational one) to this day. Outside of his passion for the gaming industry, he’s also an avid sports enthusiast (New York Giants and Philadelphia Phillies mainly) and enjoys quality/popular TV shows and movies.
