Those that love their 90s nostalgia are in for a treat. Turok: Dinosaur Hunter and Turok 2: Seeds of Evil are being restored and published for a PC rerelease.

Night Dive Studios, a developer that specializes in the restoration of former PC classics, has taken on the development of the two Turok rereleases. Stephen Kick, the company’s CEO and founder, had this to say about the project:

“When Turok: Dinosaur Hunter was first released it was nothing short of revolutionary. To that point, no game had ever offered the combination of graphics and an open world environment that Turok featured. We are very excited to have the opportunity to bring this great franchise back to life and to be able to share these great titles with today’s gaming audience.”

The two Turok titles are exclusive to PC at this point. You’ll be able to download them via Steam, the Humble Bundle store, GOG, GamersGate, Greenman Gaming or at Night Dive Studios’ website. There is yet to be announced plans for a price point or timeline on these updated Turok titles though. We’ll let you know when we hear anything.

Growing up a 90's kid, Jeff found his love for gaming during Nintendo's heyday. Because of that, you could call him a "Nintendo Fanboy" (albeit a rational one) to this day. Outside of his passion for the gaming industry, he’s also an avid sports enthusiast (New York Giants and Philadelphia Phillies mainly) and enjoys quality/popular TV shows and movies.
