Well, this is a pleasant surprise. Over on their official blog, Microsoft has announced that its upcoming post-apocalyptic action-adventure game ReCore will be coming not only to the Xbox One, but also to Windows 10.

While details on ReCore are still vague, we know that the game will see protagonist Joule as she journeys through a post-apocalyptic wasteland. Joule will be using special abilities to grant “life” into certain objects throughout the wasteland. Whether it’s a giant mech, or a robotic dog, Joule will be able to take control of them.

It will be interesting to see if ReCore will actually launch this year (If it does, when?). Comcept (with MegaMan creator, Keiji Inafune) are hard at work putting the finishing touches on Mighty No. 9, their MegaMan inspired game.

Needless to say, it’s always great seeing games come to multiple platforms. Widens the audience and gives even more people the chance to play.

Speaking of playing, are you excited to play ReCore? Let us know in the comments below.
