Project Cars 2

While the cat was let out of the bag a bit early with a leak last week, Slightly Mad Studios and Bandai Namco finally made the reveal themselves. Project Cars 2 is officially getting the green light later this year.

One thing is for sure – the game looks great. While only alpha footage, today’s announce trailer sports 4K visuals that would make any gear head blush. The weather effects and track environments looks great too.

Slightly Mad is promising over 170 cars in the game as well as over 60 tracks to run them on. They also tout that said cars and tracks have been “tested and approved by world-class drivers.” They are heaping high praise onto their title. The developers state that “featuring more iconic cars from the world’s most elite brands, Project Cars 2 is the most beautiful, authentically-crafted, and technically-advanced racing simulation game you’ve ever experienced.” Watch out Gran Turismo.

Project Cars 2 is slated to speed onto Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC late 2017.
