Lara Croft made quite the impression during Microsoft’s Gamescom presentation. Crystal Dynamic’ follow-up to the 2013 hit reboot, Tomb Raider, stole the show at the end of the presentation. Dubbed Rise of the Tomb Raider, we hoped to see a bit more, you know, raiding. Instead it was an ample amount of violence once again on display – albeit very well done violence.

It turns out Microsoft and Crystal Dynamics do have said raiding in store for us within Rise of the Tomb Raider. And they’ve released a new video to prove it. The below video, Prophet’s Tomb, starts out with a cinematic that hurls Lara into the start of her journey. She then quickly finds the entrance to the aforementioned tomb and the actual tomb raiding begins from there.

It’s a meaty showing for Rise of the Tomb Raider. The clip comes in at about thirteen minutes. So grab a frosty beverage and enjoy Ms. Croft at her finest. Rise of the Tomb Raider releases on Xbox One November 10th.

Growing up a 90's kid, Jeff found his love for gaming during Nintendo's heyday. Because of that, you could call him a "Nintendo Fanboy" (albeit a rational one) to this day. Outside of his passion for the gaming industry, he’s also an avid sports enthusiast (New York Giants and Philadelphia Phillies mainly) and enjoys quality/popular TV shows and movies.
