Grand Theft Auto Online - Running Back Mode

Thanksgiving is nearly upon us. Many Americans, of course, celebrate the day with turkey on their plates and football on their televisions. Rockstar Games knows this, and has a new Grand Theft Auto Online mode coming our way to commemorate it.

Dubbed as Running Back Mode, the new Adversary Mode is a unique one for Grand Theft Auto Online. Here is how Rockstar explains it:

“Two teams (a total of 4-8 players) square off from opposing sides of a roadway. The elusive Runner, behind the wheel of a Benefactor Panto, must go the distance and get across the end zone line at the far end of the highway with the help of their offensive teammates in BF Biftas. Meanwhile, their defensive-minded opponents (also in Biftas) must ruthlessly block, crash and pummel their way to try to stop them.”

You can play Running Back within the Zancudo Tunnel or on the Raton Canyon and La Mesa Bridges. The mode, like all others releasing recently for Grand Theft Auto Online, is only available to play on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. The mode should be live now, so throw on a helmet and go check it out.

Growing up a 90's kid, Jeff found his love for gaming during Nintendo's heyday. Because of that, you could call him a "Nintendo Fanboy" (albeit a rational one) to this day. Outside of his passion for the gaming industry, he’s also an avid sports enthusiast (New York Giants and Philadelphia Phillies mainly) and enjoys quality/popular TV shows and movies.
