While the community of For Honor remains relatively tame, there is a committed group who are still loving the strategic brawler. Luckily for them, and hopefully in a move to bring people back, Ubisoft has announced that Season 2 begins in May. And with it, new additions.
Season 2: Shadow and Might
Season 2 of For Honor, entitled Shadow and Might, will begin on May 16th. It will feature two new maps in Forge and Temple Garden. On consoles, a new title update (1.06) is planned to be introduced with Season 2 as well. It will implement better network stability, balancing and minor gameplay changes. The update has already occurred for PC owners.
The real meat of the update are two new heroes entering the fray. “The legal Shinobi” and “the fierce Centurion.”:
- Shinobi (Samurai Assassin) – The Shinobi are silent warriors able to move with a dancer’s grace and kill with precision thanks to a lifetime of disciplined training. They wield the traditional Japanese Kusarigama.
- Centurion (Knight Hybrid) – The Centurion sees the battlefield like a chessboard. Equipped with the reliable standard issue gladius, Centurions can bypass enemy defenses through strategic close-quarters combat.
You can take a look at the below trailer to see the Shinobi and Centurion in action. Season Pass owners will get the Season 2 For Honor heroes free of charge. It will be premium for everyone else. The maps and title updates, however, are free to everyone.
