Takedown Hawaii Splash

Three years after Retro City Rampage was released, Vblank Entertainment returns to the scenes and announces a sequel to the well received 8-bit action title. Shakedown Hawaii, this is the name of the upcoming game which was revealed today with a post on PlayStation Blog, takes place 30 years after the first episode and will bring the Retro City wackiness into a 16-bit open world environment featuring even more weapons and destructible items.

Not much has been said about the game, which will be playable on December 5th and 6th at the PlayStation Experience in San Francisco, aside from the fact that Shakedown Hawaii will see The Player coming out of early retirement to take care of some unfinished business and restore his neglected empire.

Shakedown Hawaii will be released on Playstation 4 as well as PS Vita, but no details on a possible release window have been disclosed yet.
