A trailer for Sid Meier’s Civilization VI has been uploaded today to the franchise’s official YouTube channel. As other trailers before, the video features some of humanity’s most iconic achievements throughout the centuries: architectural wonders, artistic masterpieces, and discoveries are all part of this celebration of civilization.
According to 2k and Firaxis, Sid Meier’s Civilization VI will improve upon its predecessors by featuring a dynamically shifting diplomacy system, expanded cities that are now even more customizable, and an active research system which will allow you to use your units to explore and discover new cultures. The game will also give you the ability to combine fighting and support units in order to create more versatile corps that can be useful when tackling bigger challenges. If the appearance of Gandhi’s smiling face in the trailer is something we can speculate upon, plenty of nukes will also play a major role in the game.
Sid Meier’s Civilization VI is set to be released on October 21st, 2016 and will be available on PC. Steam is already accepting pre-orders for the title. The price is set at 55,99 USD for the standard edition and at 79,99 USD for the Digital Deluxe one.
