Square Enix will be holding an event next month to announce more information on their highly anticipated action role-playing game Final Fantasy XV. The event, called Uncovered: Final Fantasy XV, will be held March 30 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California.
While specific details are scarce, Square Enix did confirm that “major announcements and surprises including the official release date for the game” will happen at the show. Fans can get tickets for the event on Square Enix’s site, but those who can’t make it out to the city of angels shouldn’t worry. The Japanese publisher will be livestreaming the event on both YouTube and Twitch as it happens. More detailed information on tickets will be announced on Friday, February 5 at 4:00 p.m. PST.
This news comes just days after Square Enix released a new gameplay trailer for Final Fantasy XV. You can check out the new video of the gorgeous Xbox One and PlayStation 4 game below:
While the format for Uncovered: Final Fantasy XV wasn’t announced, we do know that some familiar faces will be hosting the event. Former video game journalists, and current members of KindaFunny.com, Greg Miller and Tim Gettys will be hosting the show. Miller recently won the Trending Gamer award 2015 at the Video Game Awards, and is a good choice to host such an event.
Final Fantasy XV, which was originally titled Final Fantasy Versus XIII has been in development since 2006. After several iterations, Square Enix’s next installment in their beloved Final Fantasy series will finally release later this year. The role-playing game will launch on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Let us know in the comments below if you’ll be checking out the Uncovered: Final Fantasy XV event when it streams on Wednesday, March 30 at 7:00 p.m. PDT! If not, be sure to check Victory Point for all the latest news regarding the game!
