Star Wars: Battlefront II

People are excited for Star Wars: Battlefront II. In case you haven’t noticed, people are excited for just about anything Star Wars. Well, in just about two weeks, we’re getting Disney’s official Star Wars Celebration event. And with that, our first trailer for the upcoming game.

“Commence Primary Ignition”

EA has announced that the Star Wars: Battlefront II trailer “is imminent.” And while I don’t exactly consider 16 days away as “imminent”, it is still relatively close. “Award-winning developers from DICE, Criterion and Motive” will be hosting a panel for the game on April 15th at 11:30 a.m. PT, 2:30 p.m. ET. There, they’ll “offer a glimpse at the game and debut the first trailer.”

As most know, Star Wars: Battlefront was a first-person shooter released a couple of years ago by EA. It was pretty well received, but the lack of a single-player story portion of the game really turned off a lot of folks. With Star Wars: Battlefront II, EA has promised that a single-player campaign is a significant portion of the game. Hopefully we’ll get to see what it looks like with the first trailer.

Check back here on April 15th, as VPDaily covers all the prominent news coming from the Star Wars Celebration event.

Growing up a 90's kid, Jeff found his love for gaming during Nintendo's heyday. Because of that, you could call him a "Nintendo Fanboy" (albeit a rational one) to this day. Outside of his passion for the gaming industry, he’s also an avid sports enthusiast (New York Giants and Philadelphia Phillies mainly) and enjoys quality/popular TV shows and movies.
