Last week, developer Techland published a new YouTube video for Dying Light. The first two minutes of the clip was a recap of all the fantastic (and mostly free) DLC that they’ve released for the open-world first person survival horror title. The final 30ish seconds were to tease what’s to come.
Today, we now know a bit more of what’s in store for Dying Light. Techland has announced they are pulling the curtain back on their “feature-heavy, story-based expansion pack” entitled Dying Light: The Following at Gamescom:
“For Dying Light: The Following we’re adding a number of bold game-changers to create one massive expansion. Something big that will give the game a brand-new flavor. The new map alone is the same size as all the previous maps from Dying Light combined, so there is a lot we’re packing in here.”
Dying Light: The Following will be shown off behind closed doors at Gamescom. Techland then promises a public reveal “shortly after.” The content will be “available for purchase separately” but will be free for those who have purchased a season pass. But really, who can resist dirt buggies and zombies?
