Minecraft: Story Mode

Telltale Games and Mojang have finally shed some torches on their upcoming episodic adventure, Minecraft: Story Mode. To start with, the first episode is entitled Episode One: The Order of the Stone.

Our lead character is named Jesse and can be either male or female. The male version is voiced by Patton Oswalt while the female role is handled by Catherine Taber. Jesse’s close friends are Axel (Brian Posehn), Petra (Ashley Johnson), Lucas (Scott Porter) and Olivia (Martha Plimpton). None other than Billy West will take on the role of narrator (as heard in the trailer below) and Paul Reubens is involved playing the character Ivor.

In Minecraft: Story Mode, Jesse and his/her friends are avid fans of the legendary members of the Order of the Stone. Those characters/actors include Gabriel the Warrior (Dave Fennoy), Magnus the Griefer (Corey Feldman), Ellegaard the Redstone Engineer (Grey Griffin), and Soren the Architect (John Hodgman). As Jesse, you and your friends will “embark on a perilous adventure across the Overworld, through the Nether, to the End, and beyond. You and your friends revere the legendary Order of the Stone. While at EnderCon in hopes of meeting Gabriel the Warrior, Jesse’s friends discover that something is wrong… something dreadful. Terror is unleashed, and you must set out on a quest to find The Order of the Stone if you are to save your world from oblivion.”

Growing up a 90's kid, Jeff found his love for gaming during Nintendo's heyday. Because of that, you could call him a "Nintendo Fanboy" (albeit a rational one) to this day. Outside of his passion for the gaming industry, he’s also an avid sports enthusiast (New York Giants and Philadelphia Phillies mainly) and enjoys quality/popular TV shows and movies.
