Earlier in the year during Ubisoft’s E3 press conference, they unveiled a new expansion for the car-pg MMO open world racing game The Crew titled The Crew Wild Run.

According to a press release, players with powerful Windows PC’s will be the first to get their hands on the expansion through a closed beta test which will be available on October 15th 11am BST and will run through till October 19th at 11am BST.

During the closed beta, players will be able to participate in PvE and PvP missions in order to raise their rankings in order to unlock new customization and features for their vehicles. Players will also be able to participate in FreeDrive activities, speed and skill challenges, and stunt competitions with brand new trials specifically designed for the new vehicles specifications.

The expansion itself will include new vehicle types such as Dragsters, Drift Cars, Motor Bikes, and even Monster Trucks. Along with the new vehicles the expansion will also update the world with a better redesign to better adapt the new vehicles included, but also the expansion will also include a graphical update which will added better lighting effects, although it doesn’t state whether it will add updated textures as well, so we will find out as soon as it releases. Also existing owners of The Crew will have access to the graphical update for absolutely free for those who aren’t looking to purchase the expansion.

The full expansion for The Crew: Wild Run will be available on November 17th for download, and a bundle with the base game will be available for retail on November 19th.
