Uncharted 4 - Video Game Awards Clip

The first World Premiere of the night was courtesy of Naughty Dog’s Uncharted 4. There wasn’t much to it, “they obviously want to keep a lot of it a surprise for when you play it”, as Geoff Keighley explained.

The new clip introduces us to a new character being introduced in Uncharted 4. Drake doesn’t know her, neither do we, but appears to be fully capable of kicking some ass. After some playful banter from Nathan, the unidentified woman confirms she’s in “not in the mood for games”, and puts Drake on the ground in quick fashion.

“Give me the crucifix” she demands. To which, obviously, Drake doesn’t comply. He gets to his feet, and just as the one on one is about to begin, the clip ends. What a tease.

Uncharted 4 is landing on the PlayStation 4 on March 18th. The new clip is just below, and here’s Naughty Dog’s synopsis for Drake’s next adventure:

“Several years after his last adventure, retired fortune hunter, Nathan Drake, is forced back into the world of thieves. With the stakes much more personal, Drake embarks on a globe-trotting journey in pursuit of a historical conspiracy behind a fabled pirate treasure. His greatest adventure will test his physical limits, his resolve, and ultimately what he’s willing to sacrifice to save the ones he loves.”

Growing up a 90's kid, Jeff found his love for gaming during Nintendo's heyday. Because of that, you could call him a "Nintendo Fanboy" (albeit a rational one) to this day. Outside of his passion for the gaming industry, he’s also an avid sports enthusiast (New York Giants and Philadelphia Phillies mainly) and enjoys quality/popular TV shows and movies.
