Bethesda DOS Image - Wolfenstein: New Colossus

It’s been hinted at previously by Bethesda, but we may now have more solid confirmation. Wolfenstein: New Colossus is in active development.

Return to Castle Wolfenstein.

Brian Bloom, an American actor and screenwriter, recently did an interview with the outlet TwoLeftSticks.com. Bloom joined them to discuss the ins and outs of his time in the role of Captain Reyes within Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. However, while there, he was pressed for details regarding the rumored Wolfenstein: New Colossus:

“I’ll be safe with this answer. If you look at Bethesda’s E3 2016 line-up there was a title hinted at in a cool way. It sparked a bit of wildfire. That subtle, very simple DOS language, going through the titles. Perhaps we’re working on that as we speak.”

Bloom is referring to Bethesda’s tease at E3 last year. During Bethesda’s conference, a DOS-style display hit the screen that listed various Bethesda/ZeniMax titles in development. One of them was, you guessed it, Wolfenstein: New Colossus.

Bethesda has played coy since and hasn’t confirmed that the title actually exists. However, with Bloom’s recent comments and the critical success of the recent Wolfenstein revitalization. I think it’s safe to say that New Colossus is very real, and hopefully, spectacular.
