E3 is almost upon on us. While it technically doesn’t start until Tuesday, June 14 you’ll be getting news as early as Saturday. I’m always excited for E3 2016. Some years its better to cover the event via the internet, but this is the first time Victory Point will be at E3 2016 as press.

So what Victory Point’s plan on covering E3 2016?

Sunday

Fallout 4 Patch

On Sunday, a special Point Taken episode of Electronic Arts and Bethesda E3 press conferences will be recorded and me available after both panels conclude. Its a travel day for me since E3 officially starts on Monday. I haven’t started packing yet, but that’s easy to do. I’m not bring any camera gear, just my portable microphone for Point Taken.

Monday

Halo 5: Guardians

Then Monday rolls around, and the day starts early with Microsoft taking the stage first. It will be interesting to see what Microsoft does now with Sony confirming a new PS4 is on the way in 2017. Would be interesting to see them drop a release date for Scorpion if they felt confident hitting it.  After the panel concludes, our post show podcast will be recorded and made available.

When Ubisoft spawns Aisha Tyler, we should be in store for more Division content, potentially more Assassin’s Creed since the movie is releasing in December, more Watch Dogs and the brand new announcement that Ubisoft likes to leave to close out the show.

Just bring back Beyond Good and Evil already?

The Division

Ubisoft

  • When: Monday, June 13 at 1 p.m. PT / 4 p.m. ET.
  • What: Ubisoft’s show is likely to include Assassin’s Creed and The Division news, but this publisher always peppers its pressers with surprises.

Then Sony closes out Monday. I don’t think there is anyway they top 2015’s press conference. but since we havn’t seen half of Sony’s first party lineup, now would be a good time. Could we see a new God of War, Infamous or the Last of Us 2 ?

Sony

  • When: Monday, June 13 at 6 p.m. PT / 9 p.m. ET.
  • What: The day wraps up with Sony’s massive PlayStation press conference. This year’s we’ll likely hear a lot about PlayStation VR.
