As most of you know, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is an open world where your decisions can alter your character’s reputation and shape the way the story pans out. With an immense amount of gameplay and abilities acquired throughout, players are able to produce and choose from a variety potions, bombs, glyphs, weapons, and armor. With the upcoming release of the first expansion The Witcher 3: Hearts of Stone, players will have even more opportunities to craft their witcher into more of a powerful monster slayer. I don’t know about you, but in a game as extensive as this one, I’m grasping at all the enhancements I can get my hands on.

With that said, Hearts of Stone will be introducing Runewords and Glyphwords. These nifty enchantments are used to improve the already highest quality of swords and armors, which undoubtedly will be useful in this expansion. Posted in Playstation’s blog today, Marcin Janiszewski gives the rundown on how the Runewords and Glyphwords can better customize your witcher and which path to follow in terms of Combat, Alchemy, and Signs. To read in detail about the three paths and which would better suit your witcher, read Marcin’s tips and ideas here.

The Witcher 3 is already a fairly large game with what seems to be an endless amount of places to explore and choices to make. With Hearts of Stone providing another ten or so hours of added gameplay and enhancements, players can continue to mold their witcher into one they can call their own.
