Back in 1992, Wolfenstein 3D was released as a first-person shooter that was a favorite amongst those who had the PC operating system DOS. Since then, many games have been added to the franchise, one of those popular titles being Wolfenstein: The New Order, released in 2014. In addition to that, voice actress Alicja Bachleda-Curuś who played Anya in Wolfenstein: The New Order may have accidentally let it slip that a sequel may be in progress.

“I’m working on a video game, first part of which I have already made. Now we’re making a second one, which will take two more years,” she stated in an interview with Poland Eurogamer. Though she doesn’t specify a title, it’s fairly obvious what she is referring to.

Considering The New Order got fairly high ratings and did so well, it isn’t too much of a surprise that another Wolfenstein is in development, though nothing has yet been confirmed. Plus, I’m sure we can all relate to Alicja’s other comment made in her interview:

“I played this game as a child. I was very happy when I got to the point where I could shoot Hitler.”

As mentioned previously, there hasn’t yet been any real confirmation on a New Order sequel, but it won’t be much of a surprise if we hear of one in the upcoming year (or even sooner.)

Amanda has been obsessed with the video game industry since she mustered through an array of nearly impossible Sega Genesis games. When she's not writing, you will typically find her with her gaming computer, eating pizza, or watching Dragon Ball Z.
