Thanks to Take-Two Interactive fiscal report for 2015, we now have official confirmation that a new WWE title is headed our way this year. I don’t think many doubted the game’s existence, but WWE 2K16 will be hitting our consoles in October.

Little is known about the title at this point, but hopefully WWE 2K16 will be an upgrade from last year’s installment. Last year’s entry was awarded a Metacritic score of 62, 56, 55 and 50 on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 respectively. It wasn’t exactly a superstar edition.

Another year of development gives the team at Yuke’s another shot at using PlayStation 4 and Xbox One hardware to the best of their ability. We’ll see if WWE 2K16 gets the 10 count this year as well…

WWE 2K16 will hit the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on October 27th in North America. No word on a PC version. We’ll have more details on the game once news hits the squared circle.

Growing up a 90's kid, Jeff found his love for gaming during Nintendo's heyday. Because of that, you could call him a "Nintendo Fanboy" (albeit a rational one) to this day. Outside of his passion for the gaming industry, he’s also an avid sports enthusiast (New York Giants and Philadelphia Phillies mainly) and enjoys quality/popular TV shows and movies.
